- Have Any Questions ?

To decide which Hosting Plan suits best your needs you need to estimate:
1) How many simultanous users do you expect in your System.
2) How many will broadcast Video and Audio at the same time.(very important)
3) For how much time they will broadcast live Video.
4) At what quality you want the live video to show.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
All FnkMedia Flash Video Chat Applications have bandwidth limitation mechanisms! When video hits the contract
limit automatically will cut of all Videos show no overcharge for you
will occur.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Estimate the concurrent users:
- Concurrent users are how many people is just connecting and use
the system just for text writing. No video or audio publishing. No
video or audio reaceiving .It is estimated in Number

2) Estimate Peak Bandwidth.
- Peak bandwidth is the max connection power that server will provide your site
when many people open their Cam or Mic at the same time (rush hours with many connections).
It describes the maximum simultaness load. It is estimated in Mbps

3) Estimate Traffic Bandwidth.
- Traffic bandwidth is the total bandwidth for the month that your site can use.
It is estimated in Gigabytes.

4) Estimate the quality of live Video.
- This is your option. All Fnkmedia Applications provides through admin panel the
video quality that you allow your users for showing or receiving Video or Audio. It is
estimated in kilobytes per Second

---------------------------------------
GOLDEN RULE TO ESTIMATE PEAK BANDWIDTH.
-----------------------------------------
A=CONNECTIONS THAT PUBLISH A/V (NUMBER) (PEOPLE OPEN CAM OR MIC)
B=CONNECTIONS THAT RECEIVE A/V (NUMBER) (PEOPLE RECEIVE CAM OR MIC)
C=PUBLISH BANDWIDTH (KILOBYTES PER SECOND) (CUSTOMIZED BY ADMIN VIA ADMIN CONSOLE)
PEAK = [( A x B ) A ] x C
This outcome will be in kilobytes per second.
125 kilobytes per second is equal to 1 Mbps.
------------------------------------------
EXAMPLES :
1) You have 10-20 people online. There are 1 person showing his live video at 7 kb per second
and one receiving. This is a prive video scenario.
Show it is [(1 x 1) 1] x 7 kb/per second= 14 kilobytes per sec. Because 125 kilobytes per second
is equal to 1 mbps then your peak bandwidth is 0.11 Mbps.
Ok , lets assume that you have 10 prive video scenario of this kind at the same time. Then the
peak bandwidth is 10 x 0.22 = 1.1 Mbps
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) You have 20-30 people online. There are 2 person showing their live video at 7 kb per second
and two person receiving. This is a prive video scenario but they both publish and both receive.
Show it is [(2 x 2) 2 ] x 7 kb/per second= 48 kilobytes per sec. Because 125 kilobytes per second
is equal to 1 mbps then your peak bandwidth is 0.22 Mbps.
Ok , lets assume that you have 10 prive video scenario of this kind at the same time. Then the
peak bandwidth is 10 x 0.22= 2.2 Mbps
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) You have 40-50 people online in System. This is a lobby scenario.
There are 4 persons showing their live video simultanously at 7 kb.
per second . There are 10 persons that watching the four of them at the same time .
Show it is (4 x 10) x 7= 280 kilobytes per sec. Because 125 kilobytes per second is equal to 1 mbps
then your peak bandwidth is 2.24 Mbps.
Ok , lets assume that you have 10 lobbies scenario of this kind at the same time. Then the
peak bandwidth is 10 x 2.24= 22.4 Mbps
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) You have 20-30 people online in System and 20 person showing their live video at 20 kb per second
and 20 person receiving all 20 of them .This is a very high loaded lobby scenario.
Show it is [(20 x 20) 20] x 20 kb/per second= 8400 kilobytes per sec. Because 125 kilobytes per second
is equal to 1 mbps then your peak bandwidth is 67.2 Mbps.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) You have 20-30 people online and 20 person showing their live video at 12 kb per second
and 20 person receiving all 20 of them .This is a very high loaded lobby scenario.
Show it is [(20 x 20) 20] x 12 kb/per second= 8400 kilobytes per sec. Because 125 kilobytes per second
is equal to 1 mbps then your peak bandwidth is 40.3 Mbps.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok now lets calculate the traffic bandwidth:
Example 1 :
A) 14 kilobyte per sec. If the conversation was for 10 minutes then the traffic bandwidth would
be 14 kilobyte x 600 sec = 8400 kilobytes ( 8 Megabytes ).
B) 140 kilobyte x 600 sec = 84000 kilobytes( 84 Megabytes ).

Example 2 :
A) 48 kilobytes per sec. If the conversation was for 10 minutes then the traffic bandwidth would
be 48 kilobytes x 600 sec = 28800 kilobytes ( 28 Megabytes ).
B) 480 kilobytes x 600 sec = 280000 kilobytes( 280 Megabytes ).
